But not today... Today, the rain decided to come around 3:00 in the afternoon while we were all still at work. It still amazes me how things can go from completely dry to monsoon like conditions in a matter of minutes. It rained so much in such a short amount of time that there were actually flash floods in the streets of Cebu. It lasted about 45 minutes or so and then dried up as quickly as it had came.

Rainy Season
Every night for the last 4 nights it has started pouring between 10 and 10:30 in the evening. It's actually been pretty enjoyable because the rain usually comes with an incredibly beautiful lightning storm and billowing thunder. One night, the thunder was so surprisingly loud that I actually sat straight up in bed trying to figure out what was going on. There are few things better than a rain storm when you are already home for the night. We open all the windows and just sit on a bean bag and enjoy the coolness of the rain.
