THE Church

Last Sunday, I went with one of my friends to a small Filipino church. Both the service and the worship songs were in Cebuano and in English. As I stood there, singing in Cebuano, surrounded by Filipino men, women, children, families, and babies, I remembered how I felt the last few Sundays I was in church in Simi Valley, CA... I was so excited that in a matter of weeks, I would be worshipping the same God with believers half way around the world. I would have the opportunity to worship with the global church. On Sunday, as I stood there listening to my brothers and sisters pour their hearts out to God in a language I didn't understand, I was confident that my God heard their cries of praise and thanksgiving. It felt so right. I was once again reminded, that this is all that matters...
